A DAY AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

Jim and I spent a day at Universal Studios.  Getting there was part of the fun.  We used Uber, a service where people come and get you in their car and drive you to your destination for a fee far smaller than taking a taxi or bus tour.  So we had a luxury ride there in a Lexus!

Here are some of the sites we captured.  There were a number of rides but we weren't able to go on them because of a neck injury Jim's dealing with.  But we still had a fun filled day none-the-less then figured out how to take three local buses 1.5 hours back to the marina.

Here you go...

The Wizardly World of Harry Potter's entrance

Just a bit crowded...and this was only 10:30 a.m.

Tea Cups, anyone?

I wasn't kidding about the crowds everywhere!

Street fronts used as sets; the fire hydrants and
street lights are inter-changeable.

Jaws' homeset

The Grinch that Stole Christmas set

Psycho anyone?

Lineup for Waterworld was 40 minutes, all that time
we were herded like cattle, shuffling forward.
The show was great but very wet so I didn't take photos.

The beige buildings are all studios in Hollywood
...and that's all folks!
