Well...we will be leaving for Mexico within the month! We're getting to the point where we'll be putting the 'to do' list away for the time being. I'm sure we'll work on it once we've been cruising for a while.  Right now we're ready to untie the lines and head off into the great unknown, following the coasts of Washington, Oregon and California to Mexico.  Horizon fever is getting stronger as we go over routing maps and cruising guides.

British Columbia is experiencing some amazing weather this summer and we're enjoying our time at North Saanich Marina.  We have sublet a slip that happens to be at the very end of a dock facing the inner area of Tsehum Harbour.  We've been greeted by bright sunshine, herons, seals, eagles and dragonflies everyday this month. 

We haul the boat out next week for a survey, to paint the bottom and add a few more thruhulls.  Our son, Brendan, is coming to help us with our tasks, which is super.
